Grooming generally includes cleaning and checking your pet’s teeth, cleaning their eyes and ears, trimming their nails, and a bath using shampoos and conditioners. Our prices depend on the size of your dogs, the number of pets to be groomed at the same time (the more the merrier) and the frequency of the grooming appointments.

Canine Standard package

  • Thorough brush and comb out to remove debris, loose hair and tangles.
  • Ensure inner ears are protected from getting wet to avoid infection.
  • Warm shampoo wash with coat specific shampoo.
  • Warm condition treatment with professional branded conditioners, coat dependant.
  • Massage to stimulate skin and check for lumps, hot spots and other skin irregularities.
  • Warm water rinse.
  • Towel dry to remove excess water.
  • Temperature and speed adjustable blow dry.
  • Thorough coat styling brush out.
  • Teeth brushing.
  • Clean and Sanitise ears.
  • Clean eyes.
  • Nail Clipping.
  • Anal secretion if necessary.
  • Anti-bacterial spritz.
  • Powder or deodorizer.
  • Hair accessorize.
  • Your newly salon groomed smiley pet is then immediately returned home to continue their daily doggy duties.

Canine Glam it up Package

Includes the Standard Package as well as:

  • Clipping and shaving for the summer heat.
  • Scissor styling and trimming all over.
  • All breed cuts or owner specification cuts.
  • Sanitary clip – This is where we shave or trim the ‘you know what area’ so that your pet can go to the loo in a more sanitary manner.

Feline standard package

  • Warm water wash.
  • Towel dry.
  • Blow dry.
  • Brush.
  • Ear clean.
  • Nail clip.
  • Bandana.

Feline Glam it up Package

Includes the Standard Package as well as:

  • Trim.
  • Cut.
  • Shave.

Extras

Shedding Solution – R30

specialised equipment is used to remove around 70% of excess shedding hair that normal grooming would not, so it does not end up all over your house. This is commonly used for breeds with double coats such as the Husky and Labrador.

Tick and flea treatment – R30

Specialized tick and flea dip that is used to remove current ticks/fleas/flies. Please make sure you wash all pet bedding as to prevent cross contamination after the groom.

Teeth brushing – R20

We will use a disinfected specialized pet toothbrush and pet toothpaste/gel. Gel is particularly effective to use on cats.

De Worming Tablet – R60

1 tablet covers 10 kilograms of pet’s weight. Larger breeds will require more than 1 tablet depending on the weight of the pet. Recommended to be done every 8 to 12 weeks).

Matted pets – R50 extra

For every 15 min spent over the prescribed time.

Pets that are extremely matted require extra time and care, especially if they have not been groomed in a while. We have prescribed times for grooming, if we have to spend extra time to groom/shave etc. additional charges will be incurred. We will make contact with you to discuss the best solution for your pet.

Please remember that nail cutting, ear cleaning, eye cleaning and anal secretion is part of the standard and glam it up packages, however if you have additional pets that you would like to just receive those treatments without the physical groom the below charges will apply.

Nail cutting – R70

Anal Secretion – R100

If your pet is licking their behinds or scooting on the floor, they may be suffering from blocked anal glands. You may have also noticed a pungent smell. However your pets might require de worming as well, recommended to be done every 8 to 12 weeks.
